Gladbach: IPO? Thus, Eberl coach Hütter was lured to Borussia
Trainer Adi Hütter was allegedly lit in 2021 with ultimately most empty promises from the resigned sports director Max Eberl to Borussia Mönchengladbach. This reports the Sport picture.
Accordingly, Eberl visited the Austrian in March 2021 in Salzburg and made him a change from Eintracht Frankfurt to Borussia tasty. Although Hütter before the meeting a commitment to the Lower Rhine was not attractive, he changed his opinion completely after five hours.
Among other things, because Eberl should have recorded large future plans. For example, the 48-year-old has chosen a Gladbach IPO. With the fresh money, Hütfs should have formed a team according to his ideas, so the alleged arrangement.
In addition, at the meeting, the report was forged to sell Matthias Ginter, Denis Zakaria and Alassane Plea in the summer. Even the resulting money would have wanted to reinvest Eberl at least partially to the Hütters taste in new players.
As you know, Gladbach has not gone to the stock market, ginter and plea still play in the foal jersey. Only Zakaria moved to Juventus Turin in January.
Eberl: Retirement intention already in September?
“The ideas and things that were discussed could not all be implemented,” Hütter is quoted from the Sport image.
In the report it also states that Eberl has already told the coach at the end of September that he could no longer be and withdraw. The actual resignation was finally four months later at the end of January.
Hütter, who owns a contract until 2024, at least started with a team in the season, which apparently did not meet his ideas. The result: With 27 points from 24 games, the team occupies a desolate 13th place.
