HBL: Kiel and Flensburg in step, Melsungen loses

The THW Kiel and SG Flensburg-Handewitt continued their remote duel for a starting place in the Champions League with victories. The second of the Bundesliga from Kiel won its away game at SC DHfK Leipzig on Thursday with 31:20 (13:14), the third -placed Flensburg defeated Frisch on Göppingen with 26:21 (13: 7).
