Most UEFA Europa League Winners • Top 13 Clubs With Most UEFA Europa League Titles.
The reason for the criticism is the arrival of Eintracht Frankfurt to the Europa League final, the fan organization said. “The publicly sold tickets are strictly personalized,” it said. “This means that everyone who wants to go to the stadium must reveal their identity to the organizer, even if the purchase of a ticket is initially only intended.”

This handling of the data does not meet the provisions of the European General Data Protection Regulation, which is not applicable law in Switzerland. “UEFA also reserves extensive freedom to transmit data to third parties,” criticized profans.

This not only includes passing on to all state authorities in question by justification for the protection of security. This also includes the granting of data access “to any third party at the UEFA’s own discretion to prevent illegal activities as well as the violation of contractual obligations”.

The personal information of the ticket applications not only included names, address and date of birth, but also information such as bank details and email address. “It is rather unprecedented that a company voluntarily passed on the data from customers without any misconduct of them to authorities.
