Basketball | BBL: Match balls for Alba Berlin, FC Bayern and Bonn

The German basketball champion Alba Berlin, challenger Bayern Munich and the Telekom Baskets Bonn have won the Match Balls in the playoff quarter-finals of the Bundesliga.

Berlin leads against ex-champion Brose Bamberg after a safe 97:85 (47:34) success in the best-of-five series as well as Bayern against the Niners Chemnitz and Bonn against the Hamburg Towers.

The Munich, who had lost in the main round and in the cup against the Saxons, also won two sovereign 93:76 (49:26).

Wing player Deshaun Thomas was the best thrower of the game with 22 points. Bonn had more trouble and prevailed after a gala by the US playmaker Parker Jackson-Cartwright (41 points) 89:81 (37:46).

In Berlin, Jaleen Smith convinced with 18 points and international Maodo Lo with 16 points with the defending champion, who had already led 22 points. At Bamberg, Martinas (21 points) and Chris Dowe (20) were the most successful points collectors.
